Lady was in her late 50's, moved here from California, fired from her job as an RN, then got a job at my company.
She POed everyone she worked with by being slow, lazy, questioning everything, and being a general PITA.
She threatened to take me and my coworkers to HR for talking about riding horses in front of her because she was a pagan and horses were gods to her, apparently...
She called me lazy and said I was a hypocrite for saying she was not a good worker. I lost my temper and went to our manager.
The woman was sent to HR and then said her wrists hurt too bad to return to work the next day.
She was gone for a month until all her sick leave ran out, then she came back and HR fired her.
They announced that she passed away "unexpectedly" that evening.
The official police report ruled it death by suicide due to inhalation of helium.
Everyone has been offered counseling, but I don't think I need it. I feel bad that she chose to kill herself, and I feel bad that her conflict with me was the last straw that led to her being fired, but she is the one who ultimately made the decision to end her life.
It is just odd and wanted to get it off my chest...
Person I helped get fired committed suicide...
