I installed one of those Schlage keypad front door locks on my AZ home in 2011 and I loved it.
With a family of four with two teens that couldn't keep track of their keys, it was a great solution. Every one could remember the 4-digit code and the door automatically re-locked after it was unlocked, opened, and shut again. No more of the wife or kids forgetting to lock the door behind them...
I bought my current home in June, and while I haven't had a problem with losing my keys or locking the door behind me; I missed the convenience of simply entering a code when I got home with an arm full of groceries, fumbling for my keys.
So, I installed one tonight after a trip to Home Depot. They are pricy at $120, but they make a great first impression for your home and have proven to be very reliable; my battery died after 2 years of heavy use...
The one I just installed tonight...
