Zero-Roze screwed up experience

mercredi 11 mars 2015

I thought I would go ahead and share my experience with Zero Bullets(Roze Distribution) recently. On the 25th of February I ordered 10k HBWC from them to hold me over until late June. I placed the order in the AM. On March 3rd, after not getting charged for them, I called them. I was put on hold twice while they "looked it up" and finally the customer service lady came back and said they were packed to ship and would go out that day. Fair enough, though it was obvious that they somehow lost or forgot the order as they hadn't charged for it either. No big deal.

Two days later bullets arrive at my house. Four boxes containing 2000 bullets each. Note that's 2000 bullets short. How did I know they contained that you may ask? Apparently Zero feels it's a good idea to stamp the words "contains lead bullets"on the boxes and even put a sticker that says "contains 2000 HBWC Bullets" on each box. Seems a little stupid, but whatever.

So, I call Zero. Three o'clock in the afternoon on a Thursday and no one answers. Literally, every single extension has a full mailbox and they aren't answering any calls. I called ten times then quit. I figured I would wait until the next day and see if they showed up.

Next day, no bullets. So I call Zero again. Third try I get a human being on the phone. Same nice lady. I give her my info and she says she will track the packages. She comes back and says "I show here that all FOUR boxes were delivered." Remember that number, it's going to come back into play. I confirm to her that four boxes were in fact delivered, but that is one box short. She doesn't understand. I give a rough math lesson and now it makes sense.

She puts me in hold for ten minutes. When she comes back she tells me that she "retracked" the shipment and that the fifth box was in a fedex warehouse "somewhere." I'm not stupid. First, she tracked them and confirmed that FOUR packages were sent(remember?) not five. Second, anyone that's ever tracked a package knows that it will tell you what city and what time packages were scanned through. This is obviously a huge lie being told.

So today, lo and behold, final box shows up. Guess what the date is on shipping label? You guessed it, Friday, when I called them.

The bullets are great quality, no doubt they are top notch. Very consistent in dimensions and size. They are fantastic for bullseye competition. The company sucks. Why lie? Not once, but twice! I'm a reasonable man, tell me you screwed up, we'll have a laugh, and you send the bullets. When you lie to me the good natured nice guy goes away, fast.

In conclusion, I'm not bashing the product and I'm not saying don't buy them, they are good stuff, just beware and know who you are dealing with. They never tried to rip me off but they did lie. You may have to call them and keep on them to get your order.
