I see and hear all about kick, recoil, flip... when firing a firearm. Much of this is dependent upon the caliber, bullet weight, size of hand, strength of shooter... I was wondering if anyone has performed a test using a solid bench rest holding the firearm in a solid mount and measuring the kick, flip or backward pressure (for lack of a better word) on the various calibers? Watching someone shooting and looking at the flip of the firearms does not really tell me much. Just curious.
