The title says it all - what items are least likely to be in proper working order when you need them?
1) Boat trailer brake lights - almost always cheaply wired, poorly maintained and salt water is hell on connectors/sockets/etc. Slightly better now that LED's are more-common.
2) Trailer brakes - same story. Not used often, they've got a big job to do, proper maintenance is a pain.
3) That flashlight in your glove compartment. Historically, no better than a 50/50 chance it'll work when you grab it. Significantly better in the age of LED's and Lithium batteries.
4) Anything labeled 'rechargeable'.
