I had my DNA tested and was contacted by a person listed in the data base as a 2nd cousin who was adopted and is looking for information about her parents.
I think this means a cousin of mine gave a kid up for adoption but since I never heard of this it would be prying into someone’s business that was kept secret. I do not talk to my cousins (except for weddings) as I never lived near them.
Ironically, I joined to see if I could find a missing relative. My family…:upeyes:
Also I found I’m distantly related to Jesse James (the bank robber not the motorcycle builder) and the last Czar of Russia.:upeyes:
