Just read he's going to seek the republican nomination.
I never paid any attention to him in the past, but apparently this guy (63 years old) was raised in poverty, became a leading neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins for over 29 years, and lead the first operation to separate twins conjoined at the head.
Apparently he's had a career going as a conservative speaker that I never really heard about, and he paints himself as pretty much the opposite of Obama.
What does everyone else know about the guy? All I know at the moment, is that even though he has no previous experience in an elected office, I like the idea of having a president who's actually done impressive things in a career that involves something besides being a lawyer or a community organizer who jumped from academia to congress without ever working some sort of real job in between.
Ben Carson for President. What do you think?
