I've not moved more than a city away and I've not traveled a lot. I'm looking forward to some adventures with my Jeep this summer but I want to formulate a plan B for how to get it home with a blown engine and dead transmission.
Renting a U-Haul with a car trailer was the first thing that came to mind but I thought I'd see what the rest of you might suggest. This is not an actual problem, and one I hope not to have, but having a plan will let me have a worst-case-scenario price in mind for getting home.
Long-term, I plan on buying a late model truck and trailer but for right now, I'm going to have to make due with temporary solutions.
