Who on GT has a solar system?
I am thinking about one because I am mad (just had taxes done).
This year there still is a 30% tax credit (that is a 1:1 savings) and my local utility company has about a $2500 rebate (the state is requiring them to have 10% of their power generated in 3 years by alternative energy so they can count house hold solar systems against that).
This means a $20K solar system will would be about $12K out of pocket. I pay about $3K a year for electricity. So really a 4 year ROI doesnt seem so bad.....
And it less taxes that I have to pay.....
