If You Had $1250 to Spend on a NEW 5.56 Rifle....What Would You Buy?

Hey all,



I have been thinking that when I buy a new 5.56 rifle that I would buy a new Colt 6920.



Before I set the wheels in motion on that, I thought I'd ask and see what choices you all would make given the same restrictions.



I have an AK already and I said 5.56 instead of AR because of some of the other rifles out there that chamber the 5.56 but are not necessarily an AR style rifle. I'm not very well versed on those and that's why I am asking about the round instead of the rifle type.



So....would you go with an AR or some other 5.56 variant? What would you pick and why?



Or would you just hunt around for a great deal on a Colt 6920 and use what's left for a decent red dot and ammo?
