One of the other threads got me wondering. Does anyone run a tab at bar or restaurant anymore? I do not mean put a few rounds of drinks on a check for a single visit, but rather a revolving line of credit, if you will. My sense is with the increase in availability of credit cards and the possibility of a neighborhood, locally owned bar being replaced with some national chain, it may not be common. If it ever was, or was just something I saw in a movie or perhaps read about.
