Not exactly Dubai, but I took pictures anyway :)

(yes I plagiarized the title, but the author gave me permission. he's a nice guy and a snappy dresser to boot)

I know there's been some discussion about Quail Point Hunt Club in Zamora, Ca (25 minutes northwest of the Sac'to airport) and their ability to hold the 2015 Western Regional (09/02 - 09/06). Because I'm a giver, I flew up to Sac and headed out to Quail Point to shoot some targets, and some pictures :)

I met up with some friends, and we headed out to the course. First off, this place is huge, I mean really huge. They had 29 stations set up, but have room for three or four more complete courses.

Next up is the terrain. Don't let the fact that they don't have any cover fool you into thinking they don't have any terrain.

With literally mountains (and valleys and hills) to work with, the target presentations are endless.

We shot all 29 stations. Jack and Ron shot about 300 rounds, I showed up late and only fired 200. I was staying hydrated, and felt good thru the whole course.

It's a great place that's run by guys that are actually shooters. Trust me, you don't want to miss the 2015 Western Regional.

They're also holding the CA State Championship 6/11 - 6/14. Both tournaments are listed on http://ift.tt/1CKa9q1
