I've been watching an item on eBay, contemplating a pounce for better or worse in the last few moments. According to the initial description, the seller knew very little about it.
The description was upgraded today, based on information supplied to the seller "...by some kind soul..." The additional information added significantly to the perceived value.
Same thing happens to me on GunBroker from time to time.
When these happen, it makes me wish I could find a few items the kind soul is watching, hoping for a good buy because the seller didn't do his homework before writing the description. Then I could "return the favor".
Being pretty tacky aren't I?
