I have a G19 G4 purchased new in November last year. It has only had 180 rounds through it, and I cleaned it for the first time today.
Not too much carbon as I expected, but I wonder what I can do to make the slide actually "look" clean. I didn't soak it with solvent, just a quick wipe with a wet patch. The slide has the smooth finish. I tried using window cleaner, then alcohol. It just has miscellaneous swirls and smudges on a relatively new gun which has never been in a holster.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
