For first time in while went into Gander Mtn. Like other stores they are (IMO) overpriced. Sometimes there are deals.
I saw they had 175 rds buckshot in ammo can for $160 while back. (IMO $$) Well they had sign for $100. So very nice 50 cal metal ammo can (@ $20) 175 rds Federal 00 Buck 2 3/4" and additional $10 off if I sign up for store card. (another $60 if I put $500 on card in 90 days)
So I sign up, get one. Tell friend who has never heard of Gander Mtn. He goes online and gets it for $130, free shipping and mail in rebate for $30. Seems the store was supposed to charge me $130, make me send in rebate form but they didn't. :)
I have not shot it yet (ok its only -15f):wow: but I just can't enjoy it until it hits 30 f above.
If I get the card before sale ends (and ideally don't have to mess with rebates) I will buy another 175 rds/ammo can. They also have Blazer Brass at almost good price. 9mm 700 rds for $190 BUT if you price match from Fleet Farm (guy said they would price match) its $90.(so 400= $180) The .45acp is 400 rds for $190 but Fleet Farm is 200 rds for $80 (so $160 for 400)
Lots of 5.56 from $.39 rd on up. Now if they just had bulk slugs for same money (or less) as buck.
