So, I just stepped into the world of NFA items :supergrin: and just bought a Gemtech TREK. I know they're not the best, but from what I've read, they're a solid suppressor for the price.
So, I plan on building a SBR in the next two weeks and I'm at a crossroads. Apparently from what i've read/been told in the past few days, there's no need to clean a dedicated centerfire rifle can. Is this true for the most part? The can will be dedicated to my SBR in 5.56 and won't ever come off since there's no reason to clean it. So, can I just permanently attach the suppressor, or would that be a bad idea? I'm building an 11.5" upper in the next two weeks regardless, but if I could avoid another tax stamp, that'd be great.
