Which G30 do you suggest?

I'm starting to look for my next Glock (only have a Gen 4 G19 and 2 9mm HK's) and would like to pick up a 45.



I'm waffling between a full size G21/G21SF or a variant of the G30. From what I've read, the G30 (with the 10 round mag) is a hair smaller than the G19. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are currently 3 variants of the G30 available:



(1) Gen 4 G30 (or Gen 3) - beefy grip, wider slide;



(2) G30SF - short frame (shorter distance trigger to grip) with same "wide" slide as G30; and



(3) G30S - basically the G30SF with a thinner and lighter slide



If I go with the G30, what are your experiences with these variants? Any disadvantage with the G30S's thinner slide? I'm not too concerned about carrying concealed (living here in NY)... my gut is to go with either the G30SF or G30S... or should I get used to the 45 round with a G21/G21SF first?
