Want to buy a new glock today but,

For the life of me i can't decide which model i want. I have 2 g19's and a springfield loaded 1911. I am looking at the G17 gen 4 and the G34 gen 4. This will be a range/ home defense/ woods walking gun. I plan to put Warren tactical night sights and a tlr-1 light on it. I like the 34 alot but don't know with it being 3/4" longer than a G17 if it'll be hard to shoot and carry when i do take it somewhere.
