I can't believe I actually bought a Dodge... I was one of the most vehement opponents of them just a few years ago.
But, in my search for a new truck, the Ram 1500 4x4 quad cab with a Hemi was hard to beat.
Traded in the 2012 Ford Fusion with a slipping transmission, bad CV joints, worn out brakes, and 92k miles.
Still have the `97 Suburban, but will be repairing the rear axle bearings soon and selling it and the URET to put towards the new truck.
I HATED buying a new truck, but the used prices were ridiculous and the rebates and financing made buying new the only logical choice.
I got the cheapest new 4-door, 4wd, V8 truck I could find and it was the Dodge. Paid $30k for it and it came with the tow package, LSD, 3.55 gears, Hemi V8, and appearance package. I also chose a very low maintenance color as well.
Very happy with the gas mileage and performance so far...
