Recommend a revolver for camping/deer hunt

I'm looking for a revolver for camping, deer hunting and because I don't have one and want one :cool:



Mostly something I can use to finish a deer in the unfortunate event my rifle doesn't put him down cleanly.



I'm thinking .357 though I haven't shot a revolver in a very long time, so I'm open to suggestions.



Price: preferably below $600.00 though I'd be willing to consider going a bit over that if it really works for me.
