Non-dipped extractor myth?

mardi 7 avril 2015

I own a glock 19 gen 4 and I've heard all the rumors about the extracting problems that the early versions had when they came out. So a few years later glock fixed the issue and now the new ones that they are sending out are supposed to have updated parts. One of them is the non dipped extractor. I keep hearing about this so called non dipped extractor. But, no one other than glock consumors knows what I'm talking about. I spoke with my local glock authorized dealer and he knows nothing about this non dipped extractor. Every gun store I go to, all the new gen 4 glocks on the shelf have dipped extractors. And I even called glock themselves in Georgia, and they told me that they only make ONE kind of extractor and it's the so called dipped extractor. But yet I watch all these YouTube videos about people having problems with glock extractors and how they sent them into glock and got theirs replaced with non dipped ones's. Glock says that's B.S. So who's lying, or making stuff up?
