Not sure why JATO is so prolifically used when it's really RATO (even the Blue Angels Wikipedia page says JATO). This is apparently the last rocket assisted takeoff of Fat Albert, the Blue Angels C-130 back in 2009. Up until now I wasn't aware they stopped doing this at airshows. Apparently they stopped due to a shortage of rockets, but you'd think more could be made. Watch it all, and note what's going on at 4:46. :supergrin:
