I know Glock will sell their pistols to First Responders, Paramedics, Security Guards and similar. I am not in any of those categories.
I have also read and been told that joining GSSF gets you a great price on all the Glocks.
Today my nephew bought a new 26 and paid $499 + tax and we're in the Houston burbs. He got it at Academy.
I have been thinking about a 21SF (or whatever 21 is most comfy in my hand), a 30 and the new 41.
After that, at some point later this year, maybe a 34.
So, I am wondering if there is something I can do or join to get better prices on Glocks. I don't have a relationship with a local dealer like many of you do. I am rather new here. Just about every shop I walk in has the ones I listed above at retail. I don't think I've seen a 41 yet that's priced lower than $645.
I'm just asking if there are ways I can get a much better price other than haggling with a dealer.
Am I missing something?
